From August 2018 to August 2020 managed the business of Mitchells Fruit Farms Limited as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.
From January to August 2018 was teaching Organizational Behavior to the undergrad classes at LUMS.
From August 2017 to January 2018 taught Principles of Management to the undergrad classes at LUMS.
In 2017 and 2018 was also working in the capacity of Executive in Residence at LUMS.
From mid 2009 to mid 2016 managed the business of Mitchells Fruit Farms Limited as Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director.
In September 2008 after retirement from responsibilities at Packages Limited accepted the role of Project Director for the Bulleh Shah Paper Mills until the project completion in July 2009.
From April 2004 until September 2008 worked as Director & General Manager of Packages Limited, responsible for all of the Company operations in the role of COO. Played a strong role in the high performance and growth of business during his period while also initiating and implementing effective and lasting systems of Human Resource, Industrial Performance & Quality Management.
Concurrent to his responsibilities at Packages Limited was also responsible for the operations and business development of DIC Pakistan as Managing Director since June 2002. DIC Pakistan is a joint venture in Printing Ink manufacture between Packages Ltd and DIC Corporation of Japan.
In 1999 joined Tri-Pack Films Ltd. (a joint venture between Packages Ltd. and Mitsubishi Corporation of Japan) as CEO and Managing Director. During his two years at Tri- Pack Limited, led the company through its first expansion to double the business while also at the same time transforming the organization in to a lean and effective performance driven outfit.
From 1994 to 1999 held the responsibility of Marketing Director at Nestle Lanka Limited and was responsible for both Marketing and Sales operations as well as formulation of Long-Term plans/strategies and annual operational budgets.
In 1980 joined Milkpak Limited, which later became Nestle Pakistan as ‘Marketing Manager’. This Company introduced the concept of aseptically packed long-life milk in Tetra Pak in the local market and later on launched a wide range of locally manufactured Nestle brands. Was responsible for both Marketing as well as Sales operations.
Starting 1975 spent 2 years on expatriation (Tanzania - East Africa) as Marketing Manager Kibo Paper Industries (A packaging unit owned by NDC).
Soon after Master’s in Economics from University of the Punjab in 1970, started on a career path at Packages Limited in the Marketing Department gaining an extensive business exposure for 5 years – an invaluable learning experience from a diverse range of different businesses while developing packaging solutions for different customers.
